Our workers' compensation practice is focused mainly on the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board in downtown San Jose, California. On occasion we will represent injured workers at the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board in Salinas, Sacramento, San Francisco, or Oakland, California. Our Federal Social Security practice is focused on the Federal Social Security Administration regional center in downtown San Jose, California. For Social Security purposes, our attorneys travel all over the state to attend hearings.

Nancy L. Yamahiro is an attorney with the Carlo Law Group. Ms. Yamahiro focuses her practice primarily in the area of California Workers' Compensation representing injured workers. She has been admitted to practice law in California since 2001 and she has been practicing workers' compensation law since 2002. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado. Ms. Yamahiro is joining the California Applicant Attorneys Association and she has been a member of the Asian Law Caucus and the National Lawyers Guild since 2000. She does volunteer work as a fundraising event coordinator for the Family Promise Network to alleviate poverty. She is also the Prison Art Show Coordinator for the Pier 5 Law Offices.
